New Aquador 33HT on display in Hamble                                             25th January 2010 Aquador Boats are proud to announce the launch of the new 33 HT fitted with twin Cummins diesels with Axius joystick controls. Axius is a twin sterndrive control and navigation system that is considered to be unlike anything previously developed. Through the use of the two seperate sterndrives and joystick functionality this new control system can provide precise maneuvering. The innovative Digital Throttle and Shift, and electronic steering allow for little to no effort to be used when maneuvering even the largest of boats. The new 33HT features 6 berths in 3 cabins and an electric sliding hardtop roof. MGM Boats win Sunseeker Award                                                    29th November 2009 MGM Boats, the Irish Distributor for Sunseeker Luxury Yachts are proud to be honoured Distributor of the Year Award at the Sunseeker Annual Conference at Solis Lough Eske Castle in Donegal in November. This Award was given to us for an outstanding Contribution in Product Sales and Customer Service during 2008 and 2009. We are very proud and honoured to receive this prestigeous Award. We have a very close working relationship with Sunseeker and together we have battled the economic storm.   The Sunseeker 2009 International Distributor Conference was held in Solis Lough Eske Castle in Donegal. Over 180 delegates from all over the world attended the five day event. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor with Heavy Rain and Wind keeping us indoors almost every day. However this did not stop the party and our international friends were wined dined and entertained in true Irish Fashion . All feedback so far has reported this conference the “best ever”. It is the fourth time that Sunseeker have hosted their conference in Ireland in this decade.
IMF Used Boat Show 2009 Strong Turnout                                            20th October 2009 In a weekend of intense boating activity on Dublin Bay the Irish Marine Federation's (IMF) Used Boat Show in Malahide attracted 1500 people over the three days. The organisers say six to eight boats will be sold as a result of the event that brought 60 boats to the north Dublin venue. Show boats were valued at over 5 million Euro. A dozen dealers rallied behind the event.  "The attendance was lower than previous years but the quality of visitors was high and the fine weather was a great bonus" said industry spokesman Steve Conlon.  MGM Boats are delighted to report three confirmed sales at the Boat Show. Southampton Boat Show 2009                                                        24th September 2009     The 41st PSP Southampton Boat Show closed on Sunday 20th September with final attendance figures of 121,671 — a 0.23 per cent increase from the 121,389 people that attended last year's event. According to show organiser National Boat Shows (NBS), exhibitors displayed a mood of 'cautious optimism', with many reporting strong sales. More than 500 exhibitors and almost 1,000 boats were on show, ranging from 1.6m (5ft) inflatables to 39.6m (130ft) motoryachts priced at £10.6m. Ian Braham, head of Marine Finance at Lombard, adds: "We are very pleased with the results achieved at the show. There has clearly been an improvement in customer confidence, which has resulted in us exceeding last year's value of finance applications by 32 per cent. This is a positive sign for the industry." Irish numbers were down on last year but the people who turned up were shopping and we are very confident of turning these enquiries into deals in the coming months. We were delighted to show off the new models introduced by Sunseeker, Jeanneau and Aquador who have developed a fresh approach to the 2010 model year by developing new designs.	Click on Pic
